By | 1 min

Unions 21 is pleased to welcome Fórsa as part of our supporter unions.

Unions 21 has the specific mission to bring together unions to explore shared challenges and Fórsa is the first union outside of the UK to join and take part in its activities.

Fórsa is the second largest union on the island of Ireland and the largest union in the irish civil and public sector.

Becky Wright, executive director of Unions 21 says 'I'm so pleased to formally welcome Fórsa to Unions 21. Fórsa is a forward thinking union with many of the challenges that our existing unions face here and I am looking forward to sharing ideas, best practices and projects that can help build all of our unions for the 21st century.'

Seán McElhinney, assistant general secretary of Fórsa says: 'Fórsa is committed to organising to create a stronger, more powerful union that delivers for our members. We’re excited about the opportunity to collaborate with other unions in the UK and Europe through Unions 21 and look forward to contributing to building the power and influence of workers throughout the movement.

Is sinne an Fórsawe are the force”.
